A taste of today

Today we went from June Lake, to Mono Lake (pronounced Moan-o, not like the teenage malady), to Tioga Pass to Yosemite to San Francisco. It was quite a day and exceedingly hard to capture in a concise blog post.

So thoroughly would I fail to do so, I will leave you with this little taste of our day.

Bridalveil Falls.

Simply spectacular.

  1. Thats one of the best drives in the world! My family has a cabin near Toms Place, just south of Mammoth and June Lake. The tufa at Mono Lake is cool. Tuolumne Meadows is gorgeous. Looks like you stopped in The Valley; its a bit crowded in my opinion, but you can see why it inspired John Muir and generations of nature lovers. If I'd known you'd be going north from Lone Pine, I would have pointed you to some awesome hot springs in Long Valley. They would have been a blessing after your bitchin' hike!
