Five reasons D-fav J should Twit

Twitter. It's simple. It's 140 characters. It's entertaining as hell. D-fav J thinks it is just another distraction from work.

He's absolutely right. But those distractions can be fun like woah. =]

So here I present 5 of the many reasons that J should twit.

  1. Heh.

I'm all for other people twitting/tweeting. *I* just don't want to tweet. I mean, D -- you do remember the past couple weeks where I wasn't even keeping up with email *or* facebook *or* blogging? It's not so much that I don't want to tweet, as, why do you expect that I'll be any better at tweeting than I am keeping up with those other 3 things? (All of which I can do from anywhere as well with my iPhone now, so it's not a matter of "well you can tweet from anywhere".)

    Do you tweet?

Plus: 140 characters? I can't say "good morning" in 140 characters. (Well, ok, obviously not literally, but you know what I mean.)

  2. oh -- apparently you do tweet. I see that in the margins o' the blog there.

Just had dinner with some friends two days ago -- they were all sort of wildly anti-tweeting. It was amusing that I was the one defending it, since I both have never used it and have only once or twice ever looked at anyone's twitting.
